Looking for a grave
« on: Saturday 26 August 17 13:40 BST (UK) »
My grandparents are both buried in one grave at the cemetery in Loughborough (just off the Leicester road)? Apparently their grave is behind a small building like a chapel or crematorium. His name is Evan Llewellyn Evans and hers is Annie Mary Evans. He died in April 1970 and she in April 1974. Does anyone know how I can look up the grave or see a photo of it? I live to far away to visit and am not in good health at the moment.

Have you asked the cemetery personnel for help in this instance?  They may be willing to supply the information you require.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

Not sure of whom to speak to actually. Never had this enquiry before.

There is a phone number and email address here, I'd start with them as if they can't help they may be able to put you in touch with someone who can.

Thankyou. I did see this but wasn't sure if it was the right one. I'll send an email.
