1861 Census Help

Hi all,

I have spent quite a bit of time looking for the 1861 census of one of my lot but can't seem to find them.

I do have the couple on the 1851, 1871, 1881 census.

John Hugkulstone    born abt.1818 in Middlesex.
Harriet Hugkulstone born 1814       in Balcombe, Sussex.

1851 Census At 16 Plummers Row, St. Phillip's, Stepney, MDX, ENG.
John Hugkulstone  Head  Mar  33  Shoe Warehouseman  MID St.Marylebone.
Harriett     do           Wife   Mar  34        Sussex Balcombe.
Elizabeth  do           Dau    Un     5       MID Stepney.
Henry       do           Son    Un     3        MID Stepney.

1871 Census: 6 Little Charlotte Street, St Georges Hanover Square, MDX, ENG.
John Hugkulstone   Head   Mar   52   Shoe Maker   Marylebone
Harriett     do           Wife     Mar   54   -                     Sussex
Henry       do           Son      Un    22   Seaman         Whitechapel
Elizabeth  do           Dau      Un    24   Servant          do

1881 Census
John Hugkulstone  Head  Mar  66  Porter  Middlesex Marylebone.
Harriett   do             Wife   Mar  65             Sussex Balcombe.
Lilie         do             Dau   Un   35              MiddlesexWhitechapel.

I've done searching sounds/soundex but to no avail.

If anyone can help that would be great.

I was starting to wonder that Rosie99 as I can't see them either. I've tried just looking for the family using just first names, in case the surname has been transcribed incorrectly but nothing is coming up.

I don't 'think' that the Parishes listed would be ones that my lot would be in.

Yeah I tried the names soundex and with wildcards ... Blooming awkward name Hugkulstone.

There was a lot of movement within London I have found family where I least expected them.  They moved around a lot more than we do today.

I clicked the > and < and found other items related to him.

How do you find these things
