Eric H Churchman and Ona D Churchman (nee Hall)
« on: Saturday 26 August 17 22:30 BST (UK) »
Dear All,

Can anyone help me with the following:

I am looking to see where in Canada Eric H Churchman and Ona D Churchman lived or if they have any family members in Canada still living? I am a distant cousin of Eric's and I have been looking at our shared family history for the Howard/Fitt/Churchman family and it would be great to share what I have found out.

I know that Eric and Ona were married in 1946 in Scunthorpe, England.
They emigrated to Canada on the 4 July 1956 on the RMS Saxonia. This departed Liverpool and arrived in Montreal.

I am of the understanding they resided in Ontario but this is where the trail ends.

If anyone is able to help it would be greatly appreciated

Best wishes

Hi The Historian

They lived in Hamilton Mountain district, of Hamilton, Ontario in 1972, and had been in the Hamilton area all along.

Ona (born 1925), made a 4 month trip back to the UK in 1960, with her daughter.  Can't name or date the daughter publicly.  Will PM you.

Cheers
