Thomas William Lightley b.1910 in England

I am hoping to find out what happened to Thomas William Lightley (birth record incorrectly spells it Lightly), who was born in Hirst, Ashington, Northumberland, England in 1910.

I have the 1930 arrival document of him to Quebec, Canada, but i can't find anything else about him after this,

He is a miner, going to Canada to be a farmer.  He is going to the Land Settlement Branch, St. Catharines, Ontario
