George Bull died 10 Feb 1865, will proved in BRADFORD, wife Betty  executrix so have the right man.
Children just about sorted out, Looking for parents. Records show me several baps in places Gloucestershire)  according to various census and various  parents. Would I be lucky enough to get father'a name on death certificate? Any other records should  l look at or just keep on plugging with the census and those baps. Advice and a push in the right direction please.

Unlikely to have his father on the death certificate unless he was the informant.  If George married after the start of civil registration (July 1837) then the name and occupation of his father should be shown on the certificate.

Thanks for reply, no a marriage about 1827.I will try parish records for that - to Elizabeth/Betty/Betsy Tocknell, she may have been born Wooton under Edge, 1809+ will give the D/C a miss then.

Both the death record and the 1861 census give George a birth year c1801.

1861 census also states he was born in Twerton, Bath.

1851 gives place of birth as Calne, Wiltshire
1841 he is living in Twerton - Not born in County

Thanks have been working on the census have what you suggested will work on poss baps to see if I can place him in the right spot. Also will work on the children.

That will is for George Bull occupation Mason - abode Bradford, Somerset - Wife Bettey - proved Taunton 

It is more likely to be this George though census age & death age don't tally
