Are you trying a Disc after you try to Boot Up?

Maybe try putting Disc in, then Boot Up and see if it picks up Disc then??  Just a thought!
Thanks for your thoughts.  I think I have tried both ways - without success. :(

There should be a tiny hole on keyboard.... have you tried putting a small paper clip in it to see if it resets Windows?

I'll mark this as now Completed. My computer expert had to reinstall Windows 7. Never found what caused the problem.
