Sands family
« on: Thursday 31 August 17 01:17 BST (UK) »
I have been looking into my dad's side of the family and his dad's parents were both Romany.  We've recently found out his mum's dad's family were Romany as well so that just leaves his gran who was a sands - there is a rumour that they were circus people but we can't find anything about that and I'm wondering if they could of been Romany but left the lifestyle so I'm just wondering if anyone know of a Romany sands family or if that is a Romany surname ?!
