The Ann Stansfield who is a housekeeper in 1891 is aged 56, so born around 1835.

Are you sure she is the correct person?

Added:
This could be the housekeeper's death:
Deaths September quarter 1897  Ann Stansfield  age 62 in Leeds.

The 1897 burial of Ann Stansfield was the wife of a Samuel Stansfield of Holbeck and buried in Holbeck Cemetery.

Looking at some of Dalesman's other posts on 'Stansfield' he has been provided with or given the  information:

'I’m looking for information regarding parents of Abraham Stansfield born 24th Oct.1828, Morley, Leeds. (Not other Abraham Stansfield also b.1828, Almondbury).
I’ve found  Abraham in 1860’s working as a Tailor in Sheffield but nothing before that.'

'Marriage 11th March 1857 at Sheffield  Abraham Stansfield tailor age 28 to Ann Nicholson spinster age 23.'

1)  We do not know if that is the 'Ann Stansfield' referred to here.
2)  If it is, she would have been born 1833/4

Need Dalesman to return to this posting and add a little background.

There's a widowed Ann Stansfield in Leeds in 1881. Age 46, born Sheffield.
Has a boarder called George Hilton, age 48
While the children of Abraham and Ann Stansfield seem to be scattered in 1881.

Ann Stansfield, 49, widow, married George Hilton, 51, (Hitton on ancestry) at All Souls, Leeds, 26th November 1883.
I think she gives her father as William Nicholson, Deceased. Surname not entirely clear!

If it does say Nicholson, then, from the other thread, Ann's father was William on that 1857 marriage.
But of course it may not be the Ann that Dalesman is looking for this time round!
