Looking at the image for the 1841 census entry you mention, William is aged 8 and the next entry is for William Dych, 14 an Apprentice.

However, the next household contains a 5 year old Ann Nicholson, possibly with Joseph and Mary Binney and their children.

Or this entry:

HO107/1335/5 folio 40 page 31
Edward Street, Sheffield
Joseph Nicholson - 20
Sarah - 20
Edward - 15
Ann - 7

Baptisms - Sheffield Cathedral
Joseph, son of William (Silver Plater) and Ann Nicholson, born 19 June 1819, baptised 11 July 1819
Edward, son of William (Silver Plater) and Ann Nicholson, born 9 November 1825, baptised 7 January 1826

Sarah is possibly Joseph's wife.

Oops, forgot - witness to Ann's marriage to Abraham Stansfield is Joseph Nicholson  :)

Apologies for this, Dalesman, but as you have visited RC on a number of occasions since my postings yesterday, am I to assume that either the information is of no use to you, or that you are no longer interested in Ann Stansfield?  :-\

Hi BumbleB
I was searching back through previous posts on RC regarding the wedding of Abraham and Ann at Sheffield PC. Unfortunately I've lost the memory stick with the information on!

That's OK, Bill.  If you live in UK then perhaps you could see if your library has access to FindMyPast, where the images ares available for the marriage and the baptisms.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed information to my request regarding Ann Stansfield, it's really appreciated.
Ann was buried on the 7th. Aug. 1897 at Beckett St. Cemetery, Leeds. She is buried in a 'Guinea Grave' No 10704 along with twelve other bodies, age ranging from 3mths. to 80yrs.
I also had help from the Friends of Beckett St. Cemetery.
kind regards
Bill
