Thank you everyone who has replied so far to my search for information, really appreciated.  It is Ann Nicholson who I am looking for wife of Abraham Stansfield. Ann was the daughter of  Wm. Nicholson, Shoe Maker of Snow Hill, Sheffield in the 1841 Census. Her husband Abraham was born in Morley in 1839. I’ve never heard of Samuel Stansfield although there were two Stansfield families in Morley and the Holbeck area.
Abraham is buried in Heeley Cemetery, Sheffield, headstone is on findagrave website paid for by Amalgamated Society of Tailors.

1861     118, Pond Street, Sheffield.  (Also lived at No. 100, Eyre Street.)

Can’t find anything in 1881!

1891 18 Cross Templar Street,Leeds. ??????

                       John Simpson                27yrs     Warehouseman                  Leeds
Ann Stansfield               56yrs      Widow,   Housekeeper    Sheffield

Jonw65’s mention of an Ann Stansfield marrying Geo. Hilton, haven’t seen this one before, although Wm. Nicholson was Ann’s father. Maybe not the Ann in the 1891 Census mentioned above, is this is another possibility?

From the censuses that you have posted she is 26 in 1861, so born 1835. she is 36 in 1871 (look at the original) so born 1835.  Where did the information come from that she was born in 1828?

Then jonw65 has posted her in 1881 as a widow with George Hilton, and subsequent marriage.

Something else  :-\

1871 - Ann Stansfield is 36, married to Abraham, born Sheffield
1881 - Ann Stansfield is 46, a widow, born Sheffield and has a lodger George Hilton
1883 - marriage of George Hilton and Ann Stansfield, aged 49 (father William Nicholson)
1891 - Ann Stansfield is 56, a widow, born Sheffield and is a housekeeper

For some reason Ann appears to have reverted to her former married name  ::)

Added:  1857 - Ann Nicholson, spinster, aged 23 (father William) marries Abraham Stansfield

Sheffield Cathedral - 16 July 1834

Baptism - Ann daughter of William and Ann Nicholson of Sheffield.  Born 11 April 1834.  William's occupation given as Silver Plater (this was also the occupation stated when Ann married Abraham Stansfield)

George Hilton does still seem to be around in Leeds in 1891, but minus wife (on census night anyway!)
I'd agree with BumbleB that Ann seems to have reverted to Stansfield, perhaps she and George had split up.
So that death in Leeds noted by chempat in Reply #1 might still be her
Sep 1897 Leeds 9b 364
Stansfield, Ann
age 62

I think the Ann Stansfield, wife of Samuel, burial may relate to the Holbeck district death in June qtr 1897?

Here are two more of the confusing dates regarding the birth of Ann Nicholson. The 1841 Census gives her birth year 1827 and on her Marriage record as being 1834.

1841 Snow Hill, Sheffield

                   Joseph     “   “            19yrs   App. Shoe Maker                                      “   “
                   Ann         “   “            14yrs                                                                  “   “
                   Charles    “   “            11yrs                                                                  “   “
                   M???       “   “             ??yrs                                                                   “   “
                   William   “   “              ??yrs                                                                   “   “
                   William Dych              14yrs    Apprentice                                                “   “

Marriage 11th March 1857 at Sheffield  Abraham Stansfield tailor age 28 to Ann Nicholson spinster age 23.Abrahams father William Stansfield a shoe maker Anns father is William Nicholson.

I have heard of Beckingthorpe Place, Leeds.

Yes, it does say that Ann is aged 14 in the 1841 census, parents William and Maria - but there is also an Ann Nicholson, daughter of William and Ann Nicholson, who is baptised on 16 July 1834, born 11 April 1834 and William's occupation is said to be Silver Plater.  Entry for Ann Nicholson's marriage to Abraham Stansfield on 11 March 1857 states that her father is William Nicholson, Silver Plater.

This is the burial entry -
