George NUTTALL (bapt. 1821, Downham, Lanc.) and Alice ALTEY (bapt. 1818, Clitheroe, Lanc.; also AULTEY) marry in 1843 in Burnley, Lancashire.
They have (at least) eight children. According to the 1851 and 1861 census, their eldest child, a son named Joseph, was born 1843/1844 in Clitheroe, Lancashire. However, I cannot find him in the birth records or baptism records. (The later children were baptized in St Mary the Virgin, Blackburn, Lanc.)
Any help in finding the birth of Joseph NUTTALL will be greatly appreciated.
