Michael, Caleb, John Margaret and Ann Emerson
« on: Saturday 02 September 17 09:44 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone,
i need help finding the birth parents of one Caleb Emerson born around 1790 died 1828 Liverpool England i have found little information on him except he was in the Royal Navy married Elizabeth McKie Scotland and have several children in different countries. Iam going on the assumption that his father was Michael as his first born son was named Michael Willington/Wellington Emerson who was born in Dublin. I do have information that a Michael Emerson from Erdmine Wexford  wife Margaret had three children Caleb, John and Ann this was from a will which stated that Margaret Caleb and Ann were deceased i think it was Michaels will dated 1856 my Caleb died in 1850 so he seems to fit. Any help find his parents would be truly appreciated

Caleb's death in 1828 was announced in the Dublin Evening Mail, the Limerick Evening Post and the Mayo Constitution.

The Dublin announcement was: "In Liverpool, of few days' illness, aged 35, Caleb Emerson, Esq., M.D, and Surgeon of the Royal Navy."

The other two just said: "In Liverpool, Surgeon Caleb Emerson, Royal Navy"
