I'm with you now! Brain got completely addled yesterday. I eventually found Harold on ancestry mistranscribed as Pater.

My father attended Feltonfleet in Shorncliffe Road in the 1930s. Michael Bentine was also a pupil. I have some research on the school but have never seen any photos.

Your link only concerns the Cobham Feltonfleet and doesn't mention the Folkestone Feltonfleet after 1917.

Good evening,

No mention of Felton Fleet in Folkstone after 1917 because they were not there. The school was moved en bloc to avoid the bombing in Folkstone. It remains in Cobham to this day, apart from a short spell in WW2.

Good evening,

It would seem that the school history as given on the link is incorrect. That implies that the school moved location completely with no mention of any part of the school remaining or returning post war.

However that makes sense of the photo I have found of sports day 1932, in Folkstone. I will put up some links when I have finished sorting 241 emails. Lost in the nether world while I was without my Yahoo email for 6 weeks.

Added, the school and the girls school next door were destroyed by V1 in WW2. Now a block of flats there.

The school next door was Athelstan and next to that Westbrook House.
