Their stay in Llanelli seems quite short - they had a child back in Burslem area in Q4 1843. as to why the move - the most likely is that the Llanelly pottery opened in 1839 and a number of potters from the Burslem area went down to seek work there

Do you know I have racked my brains for weeks over this and it has been "solved" in minutes. THANK YOU. Is Llanelly the same as Llanelli?

the one in Carmarthenshire, yes. Llanelly is the anglicised version - has now reverted to Llanelli (the welsh spelling)

The family has always known my 2 x great grandfather as Tittle. Suppose will never know now what the correct spelling is!!!
