The 1939 gives Robert a birth year of October 1892 and Minnie's is May 1890

So is this his death?

I would have said it is the most likely one as they are living in Leeds in 1939.

If he had died after his 54th birthday that would give an 1892 birth year.

Maybe looking through local papers for Leeds to see if there is a death/funeral notice would help locate his burial place.

Hi all,

Just found this thread, I have found dates which fit Minnie on Yorkshire Indexers:

Buried Jan 11th 1962 age 71.
Leeds Killingbeck (Catholic)Cemetery.
Grave no BS540
Abode 45 Kentmere Approach, Leeds 14.

She seems to be in a grave with 12 other unrelated people.

Have not found Robert.

Oh, that looks good Plk.  If she had died after May then that would give a birth year of 1890 which is spot on with the 1939.

It looks as if Robert and Minnie had three children one of whom died in 1941 before his father.

Hi

I am assuming that your tree is on Ancrxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (Jo... Ed....) ?

Minnie b 1891 ?
Robert (snr) d 1946 ?

What detail do you have that confirms the death details of Minnie?

R

Hi Ray

Yes that's me 👍

My auntie gave me a rough idea of death year and I went off that.

I was thinking of ordering death certificate to check it's the right person but not sure if it would give me much more info.

I know the last address she lived was kentmere approach in seacroft. My auntie said she died in hospital in Wakefield.

There is a good chance that a death certificate would say that.
