Georgeglover. Service no 10900 royal Scots fusiliers

Hi . Found a wwi serviceman that might be related but only know basic details . His name is George a glover. Service no 10900  2 nd bat royal Scots fusiliers  d company . There is only a medal card for him but no service records surviving. Even the town he came from would be a big help

He was a regular soldier ie was already serving with 2nd Battalion when war broke out (the medal roll tells us that).  That just might make it easier for the Regimental Museum to find some trace of him although, as you've seen, his service record has disappeared in the WW2 bombing.  Worth an email?  http://www.armymuseums.org.uk/museum/royal-highland-fusiliers-museum/ (they look after the RSFus).
