Martha Carver
« on: Monday 04 September 17 14:50 BST (UK) »
Have never been able to trace the death record of an ancestor of mine Martha Carver, nee Cavill

She was born in 1784 in Ubley, Somerset and married George Carver there in 1807. Her daughter, also Martha, was born there in 1816

Wasn't able to find any more record of her at all, then today I came across a 1851 Channel Island Census with her in St Helier, Jersey

Martha Carver, widow (head of housebold), born approx 1784 in Ubley, Somerset, with her
Martha Wonnacott, daughter, born approx 1815 in Ubley, Somerset

Martha Carver (daughter of George Carver) married William Wonnacott in 1848 in St Saviour, Jersey

George dies in Ubley in 1838

Anyone got any ideas of where I can find out where and when Martha died - I can't find a mainland death but I believe registration in the Channel Islands is seperate - and I have no clue about it, this is the first time my family tree has taken me there
