Gubbins in Maidenhead, 1901 or 1911

Could some kind soul please look for Richard Eldred Gubbins,
whose birth was registered in Maidenhead 1902 i ? 
I think he had at least one elder sibling.
I'd like to know who his parents were, and anything else that could be found out.
I understand he married Tempe Blacker in Port Said, some time between 1925 and 1930.

Apparently, he was a Geologist.
1927 he returned from Sarawak, Borneo going to Francis House, Tiverton, Devon. His father also on the same voyage returning from Straits Settlement.
