I have discovered that the above went on the stage at the age of 6, he was born 1874, in Peek a Boo and later My Sweetheart at the Old Strand Theatre and was connected to the theatre throughout his life particularly the Adelphi. I also believe he was for some time the secretary of the Blackfriars Ring. He finished his life at the Empire, Chatham under the name of Cutler with his 'wife' Beatrice and in fact I think he died on the premises.
I would like to put some flesh on the bones so if anyone can point me to records that may help I would be grateful.

I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
Zoe
