Need Help Scots People

Hi I am really stuck with a lady named SYLVIA AMY MACKENZIE..born c 1875 Highbury Hackney Middlesex...

I have exhausted every avenue looking for her pre 1901 in 1901 she is in the house of a Francis Grant in Liverpool down as visiting..His son Owen Grant b 1877 Cleator Cumberland..they end up together and have two daughters they move to Birkenhead..NO marriage to be found..I wondered if she could have been in Scotland at some time or the two could have married there..any help appreciated

How long does the 1911 say that she has been married - when were the children born

Hi 1911 says 10 years married and two daughters Sylvia Annie born 1903 and Edith Mary 1906

Thanks for looking I am thinking they never married ..I thought maybe she had been married before but the registration of the girls births maiden name is Mackenzie..I have looked at every Mackenzie female born in Middlesex c 1873-1877 on the 1881 and 1891 Amelia's Amy's etc but without a fathers name its hopless...
