If you confirm a link to Mark Willoughby, you may be interested to see a Mark Williby, Mason, listed in the Alnwick Militia list for 1762:

Wow thats vry interesting SelDen and will be worth looking into. I have found a birth and death for a Mark Lyell born 6 Nov 1792, Baptised 9 Nov 1792 and died 14th August 1793 in Wooler with parents Thomas Lyell and Elizabeth which could be their child. Elizabeth would have been pregnant when she married Thomas. Also another child Eleanor Lyel born 1797 in Wooler to parents Thomas Lyel and Elisabeth. If they named their children after Elizabeth Willoughbys parents then Mark could be her father. Thankyou Selden

New to this. But Got to James Fenders Parents. Thomas Fender and Margaret Young. Thomas born 1850 died 1813 I had about 1759/1760 for Margaret. Then when you get to The death of Thomas you can see his grave - details all correct but buried with Janet who was born in 1749 died 1814?

Any Ideas
