Good evening
I am trying to obtain a copy of the parish record entry for the marriage of Sarah Downes to Robert Marston in Birmingham
on the third quarter of 1864
Can anyone help?
Many thanks

You may have to purchase the marriage certificate - nothing showing in either Birmingham or Warwickshire C of E marriages via Ancestry.

Added:  Nothing via Family Search or FindMyPast.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

There is nothing on-line for the Marriage so hopefully someone can look it up for you unless it was a Register Office Wedding.

Problem there, trish, is that Birmingham covers a large area, with lots of marriage venues, even in 1864.  The page number may give some indication of which venue, but for someone to trawl through the registers is asking a great deal.  OP would be best advised to pay the £9.25 and obtain the marriage certificate.

I did have a quick go at trying to locate the church.  As I understand it, Anglican churches are prioritised, and alphabetically.  For example, I found marriages at St Martin page 126 of the index, and St Peter page 202, St George page 58.  A possibility might be St Lawrence - images not available, that I can find.

This marriage was recorded on page 103.

I just noticed this Marriage, so Elizabeth is a Neice through Sarahs line;

Dec 1889 Birmingham 6d 76
Edward James Lamb and Elizabeth Downes on same page.

Following Elizabeth back we have;

1871 Census
Birmingham
Edward Downes, 23, Head, Mar, Bone Worker, born Monmouthshire, Wales
Emily Downes, 23
Emily Downes, 5
Elizabeth Downes, 2*****
Sarah Downes, 3 Months
John Doody, 49
Everyone except Edward born Birmingham

1851 Census
Birmingham
Thomas Downes   , 35, Head, Mar, Tailor, born Gloucester
Elizabeth Downes, 30, born Monmouthshire
SARAH Downes, 14, born Herefordshire*****
Thomas Downes   , 12
John Downes, 8
EDWARD Downes, 5, born Monmouthshire***
William Downes, 1
Isaac Jones, 36

Edwards 1847 GRO Birth Reg has Mothers mn a WILLIAMS
Thomas Henry 1839 the same.

1871 Census Thomas is Thomas Dauries Senr, born c 1817 Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

As for Robert Marston I can find nothing on him pre 1871 Census.
