New Plymouth / Taranaki Photo News
« on: Saturday 09 September 17 03:06 BST (UK) »
Hi Good day All
I am coming to the end of a project I started mid 2015 ,it is to upload and make freely available the New Plymouth / Taranaki Photo News, a monthly magazine featuring the social and sporting life of New Plymouth NZ and district. To date the collection holds over 16,000 pages and 65,000 pic's representing over 2 years of scanning ,so please enjoy. and remember to spread the joy that the Taranaki Photo News brings to people. Regards Pete. :D

Hi Thanks for interest, the search part of the site is for everything except the pdf files ,the pdf files are searchable by going to google and typing in to the search bar  "site:new-plymouth.com" and the name you are researching  so the search might look like this eg:  "site:new-plymouth.com   bob smith   "   hope that is clear and just to thrill you there are pdf files on new-plymouth.org so after you have searched new-Plymouth.com then search new-plymouth.org .Regards Pete

Hello Pete,

Many Thanks for that.

I've just startled my partner with three photos from your collection showing her riding at Pony Club in 1959 !

This system alas is not 100% sad to say so you may need a physical look as well, but you may see something you weren't looking for.
