John and Jessie Sinton- Ontario - 1875-1885

I am looking for passenger lists/immigration details for John Sinton and Jessie Sinton( nee Hunt) - they married in Dorset England in 1874 and had 2 children there-William (1876) and lilly 1878. I cannot find them on the 1881 UK census and I have strong family reasons to believe that they possibly emigrated or travelled to Canada (Ontario possibly) during this time- John Sinton was a farmer.

I would be grateful for any information in this respect.

With all the information found I am now concerned that you may not have the correct John Sinton as in your original post it mentions that John Sinton was a farmer. On the marriage record in 1874 for John Sinton to Jessie Hunt he is recorded as a Sergeant and all subsequent records have him as a Pensioner.

Where have you found that John Sinton was a farmer?
