There's a Henry Andrews bapt 1792 in Yarmouth on FS, parents James and Jane.
Could be James Andrews and Jane Whittington married Yarmouth 11 Nov 1787.

They had several other children inc a daughter Justina abt 1809.

On 1851 census there is a James b abt 1790 with wife  and family inc a daughter also called Justina. As it's an unusual name, perhaps the two Jameses are related, although I can't find a  relevant baptism for James son of James at the right time.

An interesting trail.
The Robert Andrews, that I think is the right one is in the household of a Susan Hookey in 1841. She is quite elderly - old enough to be his grandmother.

An Ann Thorner was baptised in Brockenhurst on 6 Jul 1800 d/o William and Susan Thorner. The couple had several children in B'hurst, but their first seems to have been baptised in Milton, Hants (John on 15 Jan 1792).
A William Thorner married a Susannah Burnet in Milton on 4 Dec 1791.

Wind forward a few years, a William Thorner is buried on 24 May 1802 in Brockenhurst. No age given but there is a baptism of an Elizabeth Thorner in Dec 1802 d/o William and Susannah, register note - by her deceased husband.

Then in Boldre on 8 April 1807, a Susannah Thorner widow married William Hookey widower.

That seems to tie Ann Thorner to the right Henry Andrews.

Wowee..mind blowing amount of information, thank you. However as my old boss would state 'if you are not confused you do not have the full picture'. Being of senior years I am having problems in getting the timeline sorted out from Robert backwards..i believe his father was Henry not Harry married to Mary Ann Bennett (1812) then Ann Thorner (1823) ?? Perhaps some kind soul would unravel the puzzle for me..? Thanks again David

I think I may have unravelled all of the info you good people sent me..
Robert Andrews was the son of Henry who was the son of James & Jane Whittington.
Henry first married Mary Ann Bennett then Ann Thorner who later became Ann Hookey.
Robert married Eleanor Mary Ann Lloyd whose father was John William Lloyd.
Have I got this right? Appreciate your opinions. Thank you david
