Jamaica family search
« on: Sunday 10 September 17 18:30 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I wonder if somebody could help me. I am researching the Jamaican side of my family but I don't seem to be able to get very far. I've only managed to get back my great grandparents but not any further. The only information I have got came a marriage and baptismal records I found on the familysearch website.

My grandfathers Stephen Samuel Foster and Isobel Malvina Dunkley were both born in St Elizabeth, Jamaica in about 1900. They got married in 1925, and according to the marriage record, Stephen Foster's father was called Alfred and Isobel Dunkley's father was called Joseph . The witnesses to the marriage were George Dunkley and Jemima Foster. Between 1925 and 1936 they had three children who's names were Winifred Viola, Alfred Adolphus and Rudolph Samuel.

Any help would be much appreciated as I have been researching this side of my family without any success for quite a long time.
