Rhodesian Army WW2 information
« on: Monday 11 September 17 10:01 BST (UK) »
I am looking for the records of Frederick John Barrett born Hartlepool Durham 1914. Need confirmation on the following. He could have moved to Southern Rhodesia during the Umtali (now known as Mutari) Gold Rush sometime in the 1930's
He was married to a Swedish lady in Rhodesia, and then married a Kathleen Thomas and had children Adrian Barrett born 1951 and his brother Lesley Donald born 1952?

Port of Departure:  Durban, South Africa. Arrival Date:  13 Aug 1954
Port of Arrival:  Southampton, England
Ship Name:  Capetown Castle
Country of last Permanent Residence.N. Rhodesia. Age 40 Civil Servant.

can anyone help please?

There is this outward journey :

To Capetown 24 Feb 1939 , Dunnottar Castle
Mr F J Barrett aged 24 , occupation Police
last address Camden House , Arlington Road NW1

Unless you are certain that the children born in 1951 , 1952 have died you will need to remove their names as RootsChat has a strict policy of not naming living people.
