John Thomas Heywood
« on: Monday 11 September 17 16:09 BST (UK) »
Would appreciate any help  i'm trying to get more information on a
John Thomas Heywood  born abt 1870 Sandbach Cheshire.
I have him in 1881 living with parents John & Emma in Sandbach.

I have found a birth which could be his 1871 Northwich.
Now the confusing bit is i have found a baptism for John Thomas July 30th 1871
but his mother is a Harriett Heywood  (servant) Sandbach.

Now he does have a sister Harriett (abt 1849)  I have come across a Harriett Heywood in 1871
living in Congleton as  a servant.

So i'm thinking she gave him up to her parents ,or could this be two different John Thomas's.

Thank you.

The John Thomas with John & Emma in 1881 was age 9 bn Sandbach
RG11/ 3538 f8 p10

I suspect that they may be his grandparents as in 1861 RG9 /2614 f81 p28 they have a daughter Harriet (age 11)

Births were not always registered at this time
Congleton RD would cover a birth in Sandbach

1881/1911c gives Harriet Diggles pob Sandbach Cheshire

I'm not to sure but Its worth  looking into.

It's possible that Harriet Haywood/Egerton/Diggles may have named her daughter Emma after her mother Emma  :-\

Other than my previous post for the other Harriet Haywood (Booth) that married her brother Thomas I haven't come across another born Sandbach Cheshire c1851  ???

Still looking to see if I can find John Thomas Heywood born Sandbach Cheshire c1872
after the 1881 census but have had no luck  yet ???
