Hello,

Thomas EAST was born 1841 in North Road, Preston, the son of Letitia EAST and, possibly, Thomas EAST.  There were 5 siblings, Jane, William, Elizabeth, Henry and Letitia (See 1851 England Census: HO107/2267/681, p.27)

I believe he married 24 year old Nancy GORTON in December 1863 and had 5 children, John, Letty (Letitia), Margery, Maggie and Lilly.........my linkage here is the second child Letty (Letitia) with his mother and sister    He presumably died in Ormskirk in 1873.

Can anyone confirm, or otherwise, my profile is correct please.

The 1871 Census has the "stonemason" link but he is not the same person who married Nancy GORTON?   I cannot find an 1871 Census entry for the latter's husband to confirm that Thomas EAST's occupation as Stonemason.  I tried the Parish Clerks but that result, showing Thomas EAST as a Labourer, probably indicates that the 1871 entry is correct.
