I think he's the Daniel Gallagher, labourer, at 530 Hawthorne Road Bootle on Kelly's Directory 1938. Known as Daniel P Gallagher the following year. Died as Patrick D in 1946.

Thanks Rosie for help with the burial information. Patrick Daniel Gallagher was buried on 26 January 1946 at Ford Cemetery he was buried in a private family grave section PO grave number 267 the address at the time was General Hospital Bootle so that will be the place of death.
