Catherine and Mary Anne Gilmore of Grallagh.
« on: Wednesday 13 September 17 10:30 BST (UK) »
Seeking information on Catherine and Mary Anne Gilmore of Grallagh.
On 1911 census they are aged 34 & 32 respectively and farmers also Roman Catholic.
Mary Anne was present at the death of her grandfather Hugh Henry of Rathfriland.
Their mother was possibly Hugh's daughter Margaret Henry born 1856.  Need to confirm their birth and parents marriage etc.
Would be grateful for any help.

PS   The Henry family were from the Warrenpoint/Clonallon area.

The sisters are living in Lurgancahone townland in 1911-

It is located between Rathfriland & Newry- and it falls into Newry Poor Law Union/Civil Registration District

Ages different in 1901 but looks like father was Patrick Gilmore?

Thank you 'aghadowey' and 'hallmark' for your input.
It looks like we will have a long trawl through the church records as we don't have the correct ages of the Gilmore girls or in which parish they were baptised.
Thanks once again.
