For our successors to note - Army good conduct badges
« on: Wednesday 13 September 17 16:15 BST (UK) »
Those who take a interest in such arcane matters may wish to note for future reference that army good conduct badges, which ceased to be worn on parade forms of dress in 1962, are to be re-introduced for Corporals (and equivalent) and below.  Stripes will be worn on the lower left arm, point uppermost, two and a half years for one stripe, a further two and a half for the next, a further 5 years for the third and then one stripe for each successive year after that.
