Chloe has another thread for Emily, in which she says the address was Queen's Road, Plaistow.

The family seem to have lived a various houses on Queens Road over the years.

Thread: Emily Elizabeth Browning

I am inclined to agree with you cuffie, I have looked and thought perhaps it was near  The Grove, did trawl through one set but couldn't find it, I do wonder if it was missed off if it was a small place, Nut Tree Grove somehow sounds quite small to me but  I don't  really know. I found the address on 1881 but not after

Think I am going to have to take a rest from this for a while as I am getting nowhere

Just for reference, links to the maps I've been looking at...

Plaistow 1863 - 1867

Plaistow 1893 - 1894

The earlier map shows quite a few woods/orchards (?), so possible Nut Tree Grove was connected to one of these.
