Hi looking for some info/help please..
Looking to trace my husbands Grandfather who was killed in action in 1945... I have managed to find his death notice and grave but not much else.. If anyone could help or advise i would be very greatful. The Details are..
Archibald McMillan b 21 july 1921... D 15 Feb 1945.. Buried in Reichswald war crematory, Germany.
He was in the 7th battalion Seaforth Highlanders. I have his number which i can post ( was unsure if i should do that or not )...

His service record is held by the MOD. You can obtain a copy just by giving his date of death. Costs £30.

Have you tried looking on Scotlandspeople for his marriage? It would also give his parents names.
