Joseph Ribbans & Jane ?? both bapt. 1837approx 1837 Essex - where are they?
« on: Monday 18 September 17 11:56 BST (UK) »
Hi all,
Help needed please.

I have a Joseph Ribbans born abt 1837 Bradfield Essex (s/o Robert Ribbans & Sarah) in my tree and  I'm having trouble in finding him in the censuses  for 1881,91,1901 and also his marriage about 1860 to Jane ???? (also born in Bromley Essex)  as his children appeared to be bapt. from 1862,65,67,69 all in Newington, Surrey.

In the 1871 census for Stoke Newington, he is with his wife Jane (both aged 36)
I have found a possible death regis. for Joseph in jun1/4 1909 in West Ham Essex but not sure if this is him.
Apart from this census I'm unable to find anything more on this couple.

Can anyone throw some light on this couple please?

Alan

It does seem to say Gayner!
Joseph Gaymer + Jane Oliver, 20 June 1860, St Mary Newington
They had a daughter Sarah Jane, registered Newington, March qtr 1862
There's a baptism of Joseph Gaymer at Bradfield, 17 Feb 1836
