1949 Voters Lists Manhattan New York Help..

Hi I am not familiar with US Records being a Brit..but need help I have an address of 452 West 47th Street..on a death cert for a man named Arnold Kristian Jorgensen who was a Norwegian Seaman born 1907..he met a lady in Liverpool England (name Unknown) time frame 1930's they had a daughter again (name Unknown)..Photo of himself with the lady..and a photo of daughter sent back to Norway No Names just daughter of Arnold etc..taken in Baltimore the daughter looks about 17 on the photo.

Arnold dies in San Diego in 1949 he took ill on a ship and was put in to a hospital there where he dies this was the address he gave, I searched the 1940 census and found the address but there was nobody connected there..I cannot find a marriage for Arnold so wondered if there where any other avenues I could take..and thought maybe voters lists for 1949 could help..

If you search Free BMD index for births in the 1930's Liverpool a girl comes up.

He appears on a border crossing from Canada to US in 1942.  Age 35 single occupation seaman.

Hi thank you all I do have the few shipping records..The seaman's church in Brooklyn would be a base when he was in port in 1942 so if the lady and child where in New York he would be staying with them so maybe they were still in Liverpool..it's so frustrating not knowing her name but the two photographs were taken in Baltimore..I really don't know where to go with this one..
