Jane C Aspinall - Liverpool

Hi,

Recently discovered this lady may be related but unable to find her after her birth in June Qtr 1903. (The last census has her christian name incorrectly shown).

Details of her parents -  Catherine Rees and Wiilliam Aspinall - appear to have married in West Derby in Mar Qtr 1903 quickly followed by Jane's birth in June Qtr the same year.

By the next census Catherine Aspinall (nee Rees) is a widow living in Bootle. It is assumed that Jane's middle name is Catherine.

Does anyone have any ideas where she may have gone?

That marriage was at St Phillips on 6 February 1903. He was a 61 year old widower, a grocer of 160 Boaler Street. She was 41, a spinster, same address given.

Hi it is highly possible that Jane Catherine Aspinall married a James T Burke June qtr 1921 West Derby 8b 866 as Jenny C Aspinall?

It is assumed that Jane's middle name is Catherine.

That is confirmed by the GRO index.

I am not understanding this bit. Do you mean that you haven't found her after 1903, or that you have found her in a subsequent census under a different christian name?

Shaun J - The last census shows Jane as Gane C and her mother as Cathrine. I was wondering if the marriage details in 1903 had either the names of witnesses or showed fathers names?

I was also wondering if the mother Catherine remarried after 1911 - possibly to a William Jones in 1913 - do you have any information on this marriage or when Catherine Aspinall (Nee Rees) may have died?
