The fathers were recorded as Richard Aspinall, miller and Evan Rees, farmer, both deceased. Witnesses Thomas and Harriett Johnson.

I was also wondering if the mother Catherine remarried after 1911 - possibly to a William Jones in 1913 - do you have any information on this marriage

I can't see anything on line for the 1913 marriage
details from Lancashire BMD - West Derby, Register Office or Registrar Attended

do you have any information on this marriage or when Catherine Aspinall (Nee Rees) may have died?

1911 census gives Catherine’s  yob c1870
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XWTZ-46T

If she didn't remarry might this be a possibility for her death

Catherine Aspinall age 70 (c1870)
Mar 1940 Barton Lancashire   8c   1510

There's this entry on freesearch 1939 register but it's in Manchester CB
Catherine   Aspinall (Aspinal)   1871

Do you know her date of birth?

There's this death in West Derby but her yob is not correct and she's noted as aged 41 on 1911c :-\

Sep 1921 W.Derby 8b 297
Aspinall Catherine age 42 (c1879)
Address is 107 Rice Lane Walton

Edit

When and where did her husband William die? She might be buried with him

That marriage was at
St Phillips on 6 February 1903.
He was a 61 year old widower, a grocer of 160 Boaler Street.
She was 41, a spinster, same address given.

Are either of these entries  William's death

Jun 1903 W. Derby   8b   218
William Aspinall   age 62

Dec 1906 W. Derby   8b   324
William Aspinall age   65

Is this a coincidence or another William Aspinall with same occupation  ???

William Aspinall age 70 born Middleton Lancashire occ is a Retired Grocer on 1911c
he’s still alive and wife named as Agnes Jane (maried c1862)

1851/61 born Middleton this William appears to be with his father Richard his occ grinder/cotton grinder and William's warehouse boy/cotton weaver  :-\

1840 bp William Aspinall parents Richard & Mary
 https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NT88-Z81

I note that on the 1903 marriage Catherine's age is 41 so her dob is c1862
which doesn't match with the 1911 census entry born c 1870

There is this baptism at St Mary's Dolgelly ,MERIONETH,Wales but in 1866
father Evan mother Jane

Hope this might help with finding a death entry
