My aunt Vera in 1940

This photograph of my Russian aunt Vera was taken in 1940 at the Bolshoi School just before she was removed to Germany as slave labour.

That experience she survived - she is still alive at 92 and I would like to present it to her better looking than it is now. I don't mind the slightly 'fuzzy' look - it softens the image.

japeflakes, you might call it a 'light touch' but compared to the one I posted, it's perfect.

Handypandy and Peter - what can I say? They say that 'necessity is the mother of invention' - well there was no need, but you both invented something extraordinary.
