Hello,

James MacKEWIN arrived at Fremantle on 11/02/1861 aboard the Palmerston to complete a 15 year sentence.   He obtained his Certificate of Freedom on 27/02/1865.   He was born in Manchester about 1832.

I have searched TROVE and the WA BDM INdexes but no mention under MacKEWIN, MacKEWEN, McKEWIN or McKEWEN.   Can anyone help I wonder
