I am just on my way to the records office so I thought I would pose this question while I am away.

I am looking for Louisa Mansell sister of Gertrude Mansell of my previous topic.

Father is William Mansell.

Birth reg. Dec qtr 1891 Tamworth 6b 425. Bapt. 19/4/1894 Kingsbury.

1901 aged 9 living with her parents and siblings at Kingsbury.

The next census she is living in Sutton Coldfield with a Merrifield family.

in 1912 it looks like she is one of the witnesses at her sister Gertrude's wedding and after that I can't find her.

I have found 3 marriages that could be her.

Frederick W Stephens June 1919 Birmingham.
Horace J J Higgs Dec 1925 Birmingham.
William E Purcell Sept 1925 Wolverhampton.

Can any of you clever people find anything Please.

Yes I have tried for her being single but I am going to look for her this morning with those 3 married names.

You can rule out Horace Higgs' wife I think - she seems to have been Louisa Margaret Mansell b Sep qtr 1896 Aston (aka Margaret Louisa).

It looks as though Frederick W Stephens probably married Louisa Ann Mansell birth reg Mar qtr 1895 Birmingham.

Possible wife of William E Purcell is Louisa Mansell birth reg Sep qtr 1895 Wellington, Shropshire.

Possible if died just before her birthday?

Louisa Mansell age 69 in Bilston

But she could be the Louisa with Arthur in 1939 (born 1892) in Willenhall.
