criminal record of peter roberts 1816 1818

Hello Listers

I not sure what I am doing I need help I know Peter Roberts who has been convicted of stealing in 1816 1818 once for a baby blanket . if I could find records were would they be and would the records tell me who he stole this from .. I am not sure but I think he was hung in 1820 in Northamptonshire  if that is a place
any one that can help please I thank you

There is a book available called Outrage and Murder: 800 years of homicide and judicial hangings  in Northamptonshire by Richard Cowley.
This may help you.

I just googled Judicial hangings in Northamptonshire.
