1871 census ref RG10/3306/59/36

Are these actual villages/towns?

Hi again Rick, I like to keep in my comfort zone, ancient wills I leave for those better qualified to assist!

I am trying to work out the parentage of John and William Warren, we know from marriage of John his father was also a John occ Carpenter, who was the wife of John snr?

William Warren shows either born London or Paddington in 1851/61 so a possible baptism is:-

William Warren born 20th October 1835 baptism 23rd July 1837 Old Church, St Pancras Father John Mother Ann, what maiden name for Ann? ( Not happy as a candidate with mother Ann in 1841 census St Pancras)

Susannah Warren 63 Widow b Empingham still has Ann Addison 73 in household in 1881 census
RG11/3190/100/30

Susannah Warren aged 73 is with son William A Warren 34 and Nieces Mary E Holford 5 and Violet A Holford 3 at The Three Horse Shoes, North Side, Uppingham Road, Glaston
Census ref RG12/2551/80/20

Pub still exists today, google Three Horse Shoes Uppingham

Hi again, Peter Roberts could not have been that adverse to female company as alongside the birth in Glaston of Matthew Roberts 28th February 1762 Father Peter Mother Mary, they also had daughters Mary b 16th June 1760 and Ann 21st June 1764?
Possibly Mary Roberts married a William Holmes 2nd March 1787 Uppingham?

Abraham Stapleton married Ann Roberts 19th December 1800 Glaston

There is an index of Lincolnshire wills from 1700-1800 but the individuals' names don't show - https://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/lincoln-consistory-court-wills-index/129693.article

A Peter Roberts, a shepherd of Manthorpe born in 1740, was buried in Witham on the Hill on 3rd December 1809.

His wife, Sarah nee Musson of Manthorpe, was buried there on 25th April 1790.

There is a settlement certificate of 24th May 1770 for them from Manthorpe/Witham to Carlby.
