Pickavance brothers in ww1

Looking for information on Joseph and Samuel pickavance who both fought and died in World War One. Joseph born about 1883 Serb no 240966 served as rifleman in 2/5 south lancashire regiment and died 1/1/1918. his brother samuel was born about 1888 Serb no 1165 in 5 battalion south lancashire regiment and died 4/5/1915

Any help greatly appreciated

Puzzled about your references to "born Serb"?

Died 1/1/1918 aged 35
Son of Mr. and Mrs. William Pickavance, of 19, Volunteer St., St. Helens, Lancs.
Commemorated Tyne Cot Memorial

Private S Pickavance, 1165
5th Battalion, South Lancashire Regiment
Died 4th May 1915
Commemorated Boulogne Eastern Cemetery
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)
