Thanks from me too.  I'd never used Ancestry to look up Shropshire parish records before ( FindMyPast also has them). There are also volumes in e-book form that have been around for some while.  I downloaded them a few years back and they are on back up disks.

Many years ago I bought the fiche of most of the parishes that I was interested in from Shropshire FHS. I then scanned them all and saved to an external drive.

Many of my lines are from the Oswestry/Denbighshire border, where I grew up  :)
