Nope. Nothing. No Harold O* Jobe in Scotland, England or Wales, and the only one that comes up if you search for Harold Oswald Jobe is the first post in Evelynjobe's other thread. I thought maybe there might have been a marriage to give us an idea of ages and hence timespan, but no such luck.

Evelynjobe, can you tell us your mother's name and where and when your parents were married? That would give us a definite starting point.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
