Think I've found them

Didsbury St James

Mary bpt. 14 Nov 1742 dau of Peter Warren of Heaton
JOHN bpt. 2 Sep 1744 son of     "         "     "   Heaton Norris

claire

Haha!

Fantastic! We must have found them both at the same time. Yes, there is a very good chance that could be the same John. I didn't know about the baptism of Mary either.

Thanks once again.  :) ;)

Wonder who the Henry Warren was who witnessed the Will ?

His Son one of my ancestors was called Henry. But he was born in 1778, so would only have been 11 years old at the time.  :)

Yes,

Peter warren senior, on the Marriage Licence, his abode was put down as: "Manchester", in 1741.
The abode of his bride Ann Knight, I think was Bowdon.
Presumably this was why they were married by Licence because it was outside of his parish?

And Didsbury is a suburban area of Manchester  :D

There is a MI for a John Warren bn 1744 died 1804 at St Mary CofE Stockport
Grave: Pg. 41a

He left a Will to, just let me read and I'll take any names (if there are any ) - you may recognise them as part of your family.

Right

He was an innkeeper. His estate went to his family - wife Mary

Step children - Sarah Adshead & Alice Adshead

Sons - William Warren & John Borlese Warren

Looks like there were more children not named though.

Trustee:  Daniel COOPER, hat manufacturer of Stockport - wasn't there a Mr Cooper mentioned in the father's Will ?

Trustee: Hugh Joule of Salford

Witnesses: J Lloyd and James Green

I couldn't see a Mr Cooper mentioned in the Father's will, I'm afraid.
There was a James Collinson who one of the witnesses.

Thank you.  :)
