Hello Linus,
Johan Peter Byggdin is my grandfather (Wallace was my dad). Just saw your posts this morning as I’ve just recently been doing some searching of my family history too. I see you have received some info, but I can certainly provide more, if you’re interested. Lucille, John’s only daughter, is still alive (98 this year). Merle, the youngest son, died about 30 years ago. As for me, I’ve been living in St. John’s, Newfoundland since 1996 (married in ‘07). Also, I have a cousin, Lorraine, who has done extensive work on our family tree. My grandfather’s trip to Sweden in the 60s is still fondly remembered by his clan!
Best regards
Shelley Di-Nur

Hello! That's amazing. I have a post card from, Wallace and Beth. They sent it to my mother and father back in 1982.

John is a cousin to Anette Eriksson. Thats Ingrids  mother and my fathers grandmother. My father remember John's trip to Byske. He spoke swedish 100% with the old byske accent.

Ingrid is my fathers mother. 1911 -2002. I have two old christmas cards sent to byske. My grandmothers sister, Edith was the last one to live in byske. They where 5 sisters. Edith, Ingrid, Sonja, Ruth and Marianne. Marianne died at the age of 14. She drowned at Byske havsbad.
