Mary and daughter Margaret in 1901 and 1911 censuses.They are living with Mary's brother. Thomas has disappeared from the scene.

Thomas is in the Workhouse and dies there.
That's how I found them in Gorteen.

Sorry - his death certificate in 1915, I think it was. Shows 'of Gurteen' so I went back to the census. It was your mention of Mary coming from there that made me then check.

Who is the child Mary Anne, born Dublin who is living with them?

I checked 1901 and I don't think there are residents shown - not sure and there are no T M's in 1911 so perhaps he was elsewhere until his death. :-\

don't know anything about Mary Anne. could well be an illegitimate daughter of Margaret.

I was thinking that Mary Anne might lead to another sibling but perhaps she is an illegitimate child of Margaret's as you say.

She remains with the family as she is the informant for Patrick Donohue's death.
