Captain Field, Army Doctor
« on: Monday 25 September 17 20:56 BST (UK) »
Looking for information on the above who resided in London during 1929 and whose wife's surname was Highet (no Christian name available). Believe they had a daughter and a son who was an officer in the army and served time in India. Their son attended Wellington College and Sandhurst where he completed his service.
Not a lot to go on but any information would be appreciated.
Henry. Dalrymple. Ross. Rogerson. Bruty. Clark.

You might need to post this on the London board?

and
Cullens, Grahams and Challenors of Dublin county and city.

No marriage or births registered on FreeBMD with Field/Highet combination.  Could these have happened overseas?

If he was indeed in the RAMC he'll be listed in Peterkin and Drew.
Was he perhaps in the Indian Army? What if anything does the Wellington College Register say about Capt Field? Might be worth contacting the Wellington Archivist you never know what they might have.

Very many thanks to the four of you who responded extraordinarily quickly to my posting. This has all been most helpful as it suggests I may be on the wrong track!
I am most grateful for your input.
All the best.
